I’ve been using this for just under a year and it’s been great, the best VPN I’ve used yet when I’m abroad. great way to earn VPN time, fast and strong connections, reliable access to content, etc. But today, after a few hours of use, it disconnected (as it does now) and I went back to the app to reconnect. Normally it’s just the usual purple unicorn since I don’t have a paid subscription, but this time it turned red after I opened the app. furthermore, there are normally two settings under the unicorn, one is the area setting (fastest, North America, UK, EU, etc.) and the other setting is what “content” I want to target when I connect, like Netflix and services like that. Coming to my first problem: I normally set my VPN connection area to North America, but that option is gone. only the fastest: US East, US West, UK, EU, China, Japan and South America remain. my second problem is that the other setting that is normally there, the one that makes “target connections” to various services like Netflix, is completely gone. it is no longer there. I tried to connect again by just setting my area to EU, UK or US East, but I can no longer access the content, not like earlier today when everything was as usual. I then deleted the app, downloaded it again and got more VPN time. it still doesn’t work and has the same red unicorn as the premium version (I didn’t pay for it or use the free trial, and I still see that I’m a free user) and it’s missing features. this part of a new app update? I’m not sure why my app isn’t functioning properly.
